Marie Leonelli

Glazed chestnuts by Marie Leonelli

In Corte, the Leonelli workshop is an institution, founded in the heyday of Corsican craftsmanship under the banner of Corsicada.

You get there via a maze of tiny alleyways behind the church, in the upper town. Amidst cats and tools, Marie stamps, turns, polishes and firings beautiful earthenware pieces, before glazing them in her kiln in Riventosa.

To pay homage to our favorite fruit, Marie has worked on a Castagnina tableware that can accommodate cookies, poached fruit or other sweets. Or would a pezzu de figatellune feel right at home here?

Whatever your tastes, this shiny, gourmet plate will give your table an unmistakable charm!
