Charlotte Raffalli has always drawn. Growing up, we sometimes had less time, but the habit stuck... Often on the sly, on scraps of paper, without really thinking about it, Charlotte never stopped at least scribbling with pens that were lying around.
Just as she has never ceased to redefine her link with Corsica, sometimes from a distance, but with tender constancy. And it was to bring back childhood memories that she returned to drawing for good. Assuming the pleasure she feels and offers in bringing to life beloved faces, traditions and gestures. For over a year now, she has been taking out her bic pen with conviction, reproducing or imagining scenes of life full of sensitivity and meticulousness.
One of the highlights is the moment when a pulenda castagnina is turned! It's a taste of those moments of sharing, joy and simplicity that accompany us throughout our lives.
To kick-start our collaboration, we're offering you A3 reproductions of this work.
