Based in Cervione for several years now, Manon draws on her poetry and energy to create toys and eco-responsible objects in felt. And even if Cervione is the capital of hazelnuts, the village is now home to a host of Castagnac beauties waiting to be discovered!
Manon's great pleasure is to use her hands to make eco-friendly, sustainable toys that are non-toxic for the environment and for children. In her home-workshop by the sea, she imagines beautiful objects in natural, healthy materials. With impeccable taste, she chooses shapes, colors and materials that will feed the imagination. When we started dreaming up projects together, it was our love of trees, leaves and bugs that guided us, and the first prototypes were born.
First there's the drawing phase, then the pattern-making and finally the sewing! All done by hand, patiently, with gentleness and perseverance. Today, we're proud that the collab between Balberg Shop and Castagnina has already produced a number of marvels: crowns for our little fulletti, soft toys for toddlers and even brooches for mothers in tune... all, of course, to the glory of our Castagna cara!
