Manon's great pleasure is making eco-friendly, sustainable toys with her own hands, which are non-toxic for the environment and for children. In her home workshop by the sea, she creates beautiful objects using natural, healthy materials. She chooses shapes, colours and materials that will inspire the imagination. When we started dreaming up projects together, it was our love of trees, leaves and bugs that guided us, and the first prototypes were born! Little fruits of the Petites Formes workshop and Castagnina!
Based in Cervioni for several years now, Manon draws on her poetry and energy to create toys and eco-responsible objects in felt. And even if Cervione is the hazelnut capital of France, the village is now home to a whole host of Chestnuts beauties waiting to be discovered.
First there's the drawing phase, then the patterns and finally the sewing! All done by hand, patiently, with gentleness and perseverance. Today, we're proud that the collaboration between Petites Formes and Castagnina has already produced several marvels: crowns for our little fulletti, soft toys for toddlers and even brooches for mothers in tune... all, of course, to the glory of our Castagna cara!

Entirely hand-sewn in Cervioni by Manon, la bogue and her 3 Castagnucce sisters are all sweet but also very independent! If you get into an argument, you can separate them, then reconcile them and put them back in their place in their cosy home. A perfect toy for little hands practising fine mobility...
"U pullone" in Corsican means the young chestnut tree, the one that is still graceful and moved by the wind! Just like this subtle, poetic mobile, which we imagined with three minds and six hands. Because this time, Castagnina has opted for a double collaboration, bringing together the metal expertise of Aragonita and the textile expertise of Atelier Petites formes.
At ease with the cycle of the seasons, our chestnut tree sports a yellow leaf here, a chestnut there, a green leaf growing elsewhere. And above all, it is home to a delightful robin that basks in a shimmering puddle at the foot of the trunk...
