As if they were still in their bugs, our Castagnucce come in threes! Plump and glossy, they look real and will grace your shelves all year round. Turned by Damien in his Art'è Legnu workshop in Prunelli di Casacconi, they're made from chestnut. It's a reminder of the life cycle that runs from tree to fruit... and from nature to culture!

Dimensions
The batch consists of two chestnuts of the same size and a third, slightly smaller... or bigger! It's a bit of a surprise when the bug opens up and reveals its trio!
All are credible to scale 1, depending on the variety... and the year!
The large ones range from 4.5 x 5.5 to 4.8 x 5.
The small ones range from 3.5 x 4.5 to 3.5 and 4.
These variations can be explained by our decision to use only offcuts to make our castagnucce!
Manufacture
Handcrafted: shaped on a manual wood lathe and finished by hand (polishing and dyeing)
Composition
Chestnut wood (offcuts) finished with natural stain and carnauba wax.
Maintenance
Caress them with a cloth soaked in wax twice a year to restore their lustre!
